Tatanka is the home of the Tatanka tribe and the captial of Tonka. It is a walled city situated in the Great Plains.

Tatanka is the main trading hub of the nation, causing a steady flow of income for merchants living here.

Infrastructure

The city is built circularly around the central hill enclosed in a wooden wall with watch towers. There are 4 entrances at the 4 cardinal directions with totem poles on each side. there are 4 main streets which connect the entrances to the Council of Elders Headquarters Hill with many other streets diverging from them. There is a pond in the northwest corner of the city which serves as a popular destination for fishing and children's camps.

Districts

There are 5 different districts of the city: The Northwest, The Northeast, The Southwest, the Southeast and the Outskirts.
The Northwest- The oldest district of the city and the largest residential area. The lake is a popular spot for locals to visit and the district is full of small family-owned shops.

The Northeast- A newer addition to the city, the Northeast expands the Northwest district with more separate family homes and includes a park which hosts a camp for children every weekend.

The Southwest- The administrative center of Tatanka. Located here are the guard station, stables and finance center.

The Southeast- The richest district of Tatanka. Home to many ministers and the High Chief of Tonka himself.

The Outskirts- The fields outside of Tatanka reserved for farmland.
