The moon is an accepted part of everyday life everywhere. The fact that the moon had a god is a shock to most everyone.
Everyone knows the sun is a god. Priests in Smarkah worship the Sun everyday.
Only a few know the story of the moon.
The moon is a god, but every god has its favorite form, and the moon loved the wolf. You can see the wolfish grin and the aura of its shining pelt every time, but it is nothing compared to how it was before, when 
the moon was alive.
