Golems

Raising a thick arm made with packed stone and sand, the rock seemed to move with a lumbering grace. Everyone present froze in schock as the golem swung an arm. Within a split second, a fighter had appeared.
Golems, also known as spirit statues, ressurections of stone, and hullions, are rare feats of art and war. Most are known to be thick and formidably strong soldiers that are cursed to follow their maker's orders. Other, even more rare, natural golems are spectacular creations of nature and the gods and have free wills. These are known to be surprisingly intelligent and can take on a small army on their own. Wild golems are also known to hibernate for shifting amounts of time, known to awake when violence or darkness is near.
