Dream-shockers
Dream-shockers are one of the most powerful species in Smarkah, and some view them as gods. However, instead of being organized and strategic, dream-shockers almost always have absolute no control over their powers. They appear as humans, but one can easily tell them apart by their red and sometimes blue skin tone.
Dream-shockers reproduce with a special plant called the Rift-Bloomer, which is found common in canyons, underwater, in volcanoes, and places with drastic magical disturbance.
From birth to the age of 2, Dream-shockers are taken care of by their parent, and coaxed from its coma into a conscious state.
From age 2-7, the Dream-shocker child roams the world, without powers, until it finds a suitable place to spend the rest of its life.
Starting from age 7, the Dream-shocker is rooted into place and is overcome with unimaginable powers. This power is to do anything imaginable, even the impossible (This excludes being able to break free from the place)
From that point onward, the Dream-shocker will be surrounded with a shimmery bubble called its lair, overwhich it has absolute power. Outside the bubble, one cannot be affected by the Dream-shocker. As time goes by, the Dream-shocker will somewhat be able to tolerate the wave of powers and expand its lair.
Dream-shockers tend to stop aging at around 15-30, where their mental and physical power will peak. They live strongest in this age, in which the peak generally lasts a century. Once the peak ends, Dream-shockers will fall into disrepair and start mentally aging.
Dream-shockers live for about two-three centuries, in which they spend their final days summoning a Rift-Bloomer. Their final mission is always to prepare their children for their lives. Once the children leave, the Dream-shocker dies.
