Ekonian magic

Ekonian’s magic comes from the ‘surface’ as they say, and although it uses essence just like the Conarians do, it is much more advanced and has been used for different properties. For the most part, the Conarians have used their magic for changing matter into needed material, (which means they have not had to use as many of the materials from within the Spire) and as their version of Essence has poisoned the land, it is used to make food for the people of the Dome. Two hundred years ago, when the Prophet brought down the Essence, he brought it down while it was still being developed on the surface, and it had detrimental effects like poisoning the land. The Ekonian's magic items collects the toxic byproduct with every use in disposable capsules. Their objects are not septors like they are for the Conarians, which are usually heavily decorated. Instead they are bracelets the Ekonians where on each wrist. At first, when the Conarians saw these people wield the Essence, they believed that they were wielding the essence from thin air! The Ekonian’s magic is not something that they try to keep a secret, but instead something they share. They use it when they first arrive to help set up their camp and then realize how poisoned the land is, and get to work to begin to heal the land, even if there are no thoughts to begin to grow crops. They use it casually, to make their lives easier for themselves and to educate others.
