Anya

When the Ekonians first arrived, parents in the communities did not want their children to be near them, but as the Ekonians brought spectacular new types of magic and education, the adults relaxed and let the Children of the Dome nearer to them. Anya is one of those children, raised at in the sector with the entrance, at the tender age of 9. She has unkempt black hair always somewhere between a tangle and a braid, small for her age, she is a solitary child, enjoying exploring rather than the company of other children. She goes to school, but her parents both work on the wall, and are usually too exhausted to give her a lot of attention. She has been raised by everyone in the community and as a toddler, she would love to visit the old and disabled in the nursing homes. Now that she was older, Anya spends most of her time wondering and seeking adventure in the surf community. She is a frequent visitor to the outskirts of the Feudal Lord’s estate, but now with the arrival of the Ekonians, this small curious soul couldn’t stay away. They first attracted her to interact with them with food that was not rationed. Something they called ‘hard candy’ tasted like...nothing she had ever experienced. A child of the Dome never asked for more than their portion, but the newcomer's generosity kept her around, and she was one of the first people of the Dome to be educated by the Ekonians.
