Sitnalta

Sitnalta is a unique place, a world, lost in time, sent there by a group of wizards who were way out of their league. Hidden deep within the island is a secret force which keeps the magma of the world flowing.   Many generations have passed since the island was separated from it's place in time, and since then life has gone on. Traders which used to sail to ports across the seas of Nerath noticed first, instead finding themselves making circles around the island when they tried to leave. Most things went on unchanged, people simply kept living their lives, whispers and rumors spread of ominous times, but nothing bad seemed to happen.   The Humans, Elves, and Dwarves all searched for their elders, those they had chosen to protect them from the evil's of the dragon threat which threatened to wipe them from the face of the earth. They searched for many years, finally they discovered the Elders, frozen in stone, atop Mt. White Plume. So the story goes, the elder's gave their lives to protect the inhabitant's of the island and casting a spell which keeps everyone safe.   Please note that this is a campaign run for friends, and while most of the writing is mine, most of the images/references are from other authors.
