Sithean Mohr Silva A Dungeons and Dragons 5E Feywild adaptation with inspiration from previous editions.

Sithean Mohr Silva (The Grand Fey Forest translated into the common tongue) or The Wyldes as those on the material plane call it, is a land of forever twilight. Magic hangs so thick in the air you can taste it, like a coming lightening storm in the humidity of a warm day. This plane of existence is parallel to the material plane, a mirror image of the world as it was during the beginning times. Times before the wrath of man forever scarred the flesh of the primordial Terra . Mohr Silva is indeed as wild as the mortals warn in their tales from old. Mortals sing songs of brave soldiers moving through the planes to come face to face with gods, now nothing but legends for most of them. The majority of the land is covered in towering mountain ranges and dense forests that trap the magic of the realm for it's self. Eladrin cities, towns, and hamlets dot the area as safe havens for those brave few who venture deeper into the canopies, where the twilight fades and becomes midnight black in the densest of gathered trees, hoping to discover the secrets of the First Ones .   The laws of science, logic, and reason defer to the arts of magic, story, and rhyme in Mohr Silva. Ordinary animals converse as eloquently as any mortal. Enchanted forests wander across the landscape like heards of roving sheep. Glorious castles perch on mountain spires that touch the starry heavens and expansive ruins hold tight to their secrets for all but the most astute.   Yet, for all its dream like splendor, this plane of existence can be as perilous as the Elemental Chaos with it's random explosions of stone and fire, and as deadly as the life-sapping Scáth Réimse . Here wicked hags place everlasting curses on their enemies and change mortals into toads for their stews. Hooved races gallop across the rolling hills sounding of thunder, the shivering ground the only warning before a war band arrives. Capricious fey play careless games with mortal lives, the politics of the court forever looming. Underground caverns sprawl the length of the world above, and in these dark places fomorian tyrants, brutal cyclopses, and hateful Unseelie await the day when they will overthrow the surface dwellers. Those who are drawn to this realm of enchantment and danger must take care, for wonders and horrors beyond imagining lie around every bend in the shadow dappled paths.
