The Royal Elves are considered to be the oldest intelligent race in Sirus. It is said that the Royal Family of Elvaenia can trace their lineage back to the first elf to walk the earth.

The Royal Elves of Elvaenia are said to be the first elves on Sirus and live under a monarchy. The Royal Family claims to be descended from the very first elf to walk the earth.

Facial characteristics

Royal elves have high, sloped cheekbones and sharp jaws. Their eyes are slightly larger than human eyes, and they possess a vivid range of eye colors, mostly focused in the blue-yellow spectrum.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Royal elves mark their home in the southwest of Central Rhydallia. Their borders are marked by the Sea of Stars, the Terrianas Mountains, and the Granforst.

Average Intelligence

Elves are considered to be wiser than the average race, but less intelligent. They take much longer to learn things than other races and aren't as inventive.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Pureblood Elves have eyes that will glow slightly in the dark, lending them better vision in low-light conditions.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

Most elves wear high-collared shirts and rarely bare their chests. This is because of the ellenvas, scarring that appears on the chest after traumatic emotional events. To share one's ellenvas with someone else is an act of the upmost intimacy, greater even than intercourse.

Common Taboos

Suicide is considered taboo in elven culture. They believe that if an elf commits suicide, it bars their entrance to the Blessed Afterlife.
