Umber

(a.k.a. The Snake, the Con-man)

The deity of con men and cheating, Umber keeps hidden from the world most of the time. He prefers working behind the scenes with many of the other deities to trick, trap and otherwise disrupt others, mostly for amusement, or more nefarious means undisclosed. There is no particular appearance associated with this deity and sometimes the only depiction given is a shadowy cloak that covers up any distinguishing features. Known mostly for involvement in the creation of the races and the capture of Amska’ir, Umber is invoked by con-men and charlatans across all of Siriande. His name is mostly used as a curse of bad luck, especially by the more shady figures of society. The symbol of two dice showing ones, and Umber's propensity to bend people’s wills to his own devious plans has earned him the nickname of Snake.
