Sinisterra

At its simplest, Sinisterra is a world of opposites - human and Mythou, Sinis and Terra, good and evil - and a study on what happens when they are combined. At its most complex, it’s a tangle of warring factions, complex aurascience, and a rainbow of unique characters.   “Sinisterra” is a name rarely used within Sinisterra itself. The planet is split into two halves, known as Terra and Sinis respectively, by an energy barrier that was up until now impossible to cross. This barrier was created after the Great War, which happened 3000 years before the present day.   Terra is made up mainly of one large continent, though there are a few small islands. It’s mainly populated by humans; the few superhuman Mythou who still exist live on as Guardians, better known as legends than in actual fact. Its level of technology is close to modern, though far more energy-conscious, with a couple important technological creations powered by Aura and therefore nearly impossible for humans to tamper with.   Sinis, on the other hand, is basically a group of islands ruled by Mythou who have subjugated humans. There are several warring factions of Sinian Mythou, the most notable one being Azandra’s Warriors, which have just discovered a way to circumvent the Great Barrier.
