Second Kingdom of Olia

Structure

The Kingdom was organised under the King who all power originated from via Divine Right ordained by the Church of Oltos. There was the ceremonial Lesser House who held nominal power and had times were never formed, call up, or organised.

History

Avaupas Masaila overthrew the First Empire of Olia and its Republican Government in 1677 after the Assassination of Emperor Avauseu II who had only reigned for two years. Avaupas Masaila rallied his supporters to surround the Parliament in Masan preforming a successful coup of the government via Military Arms.   Masaila began a purge of the Lesser and Greater Houses reassigning his supporters to important posts. He began the restructuring of the Feudal State into a Unitary State. He started the constructions of new roads, standardising and fixing the legal code, reforming the Olianil Military, and pushing Foreign influence and corruption from Government.   Avaupas I began conquering the surrounding Kingdoms of Deronia in 1685 and F'domis in 1689. His grandson Ilon II introduced new Administrative Reforms which completed the creation of the Modern Olian State Structure. It was upon the death of Ilon II which led to the ascension of the teenage King Avaupas II. The Noble Houses who were restricted and oppressed under the rule of the Masaila Dynasty looked to overthrow the state beginning the Olianil Civil War which led to the disbandment of the Kingdom in 1801.

Disbandment

The Second Kingdom was formally dissolved under the 1801 Treaty of Loran signed between Monarchists and Republican Forces in the Olianil Civil War.
