Sienus

A fantasy world full of both magic and technology, Sienus is home to many different races from all walks of life. An assortment of deities watch over Sienus and its people, keeping things in balance while leaving room for mortals to make their own decisions and grow.

According to mortals, there are currently 13 deities, but there’s been one god hiding in the cracks of the world ever since it was created: this is Losthe, the god of the void, and of sacrifice, stars, and vengeance.

The creation of Sienus itself was lead by Vitera, the goddess of life and death, as well as mortality and civilization. She made a handful of other deities to help paint her vision. Together, they formed earth, skies, and seas. Then, Vitera populated the only continent with the first mortal race: the suen, a fish-like people who were able to shapeshift their bodies and live either on land or in water.

In a fit of questionable rage, however, Vitera would eventually plunge the continent into the sea, destroying it completely. The survivors of Vitera's wrath hid deep underwater for fear of further punishment, and descendants of those suen have continued to keep their existence a secret.

Afterward, Vitera and the other deities created two new continents, filling them with humans, elves, demons, orcs, dwarves, and so on. These two continents, Næus and Saskadour, have been divided into eight countries after several territory wars amongst mortals. From the frozen mountains of Uzora, to the scorching lava pits of Dreso, the deities have made their own homes while mostly keeping away from mortal society.
