Sneevils - WT

Sneevils are shapeshifters created by the great god Pau-Bhan as a plague upon the people of Rhkeh. They were born from branches of silverwood tree tied together and daubed with the essence of the god themselves (theologians argue whether this was blood or possibly semen). They have an anthropomorphic form and a more beastial one but can temporarily take on other forms for a short time - resembling any living thing of the same mass as themselves.
Their anthropomorphic form is of a humanoid with fur covering their body, long claws and their head is something like a mix of a fox and an anteater with large pointed ears, a long thin face, long tongue, dark eyes and tufted cheeks.
Sneevils can speak although their speech is restricted by their lack of teeth (no dental sounds) and their inability to open their tiny mouths very far (e.g. a short ‘a’ sound is possible but not a long ‘ay’ sound). This can give them away when they are impersonating non-sneevils but they are clever and will try to work around this restriction in order to not get caught.
