Ooronanoor - WT

Ooronanoor are somewhat similar to the Tarrlo - they have four wings and walk on their knees and elbows. However they are much smaller and much more agile. Instead of feathers and scales they are covered in a coat of long silky fur. They have very long whiskers and like most creatures in those forests they slowly develop eyes all over their bodies as they age.   They live in sparse boreal forests in the far south where they travel by jumping and gliding from tree to tree. They can fly short distances between forests as well but struggle to get off the ground. Their settlements are built high up in the huge trees that make up their forests.   They have the ability to understand and communicate with plants, their eyes are very sharp and they can move very quietly.   Their concept of gender is linked to the social roles they fill as they age. When they are young they do work that involves travelling. As they age they move to food production and maintenance of their settlements. And elders work on crafts, culture and history. A large part of their culture is public debates and discussions of philosophy.
