Ganix - WT

The Ganix began their existence split into two factions - one tall and one squat - each designed by a different god. In terms of appearance they look a little like big cats that walk upright and have much greater dexterity in their forepaws.

Unlike cats they are highly aquatic - able to go on long deep dives to catch fish. They also lay eggs rather than bearing live young. Their paws are lengthened and webbed and their tails flatten into a rudder. Their ears can be flattened against their heads to prevent water entering them while diving.

While they have always fought, the two factions share a similar history with regards to the Yacorn. Specifically, the Yacorn managed to convince the Ganix to worship them as gods for a long time and many of the Ganix even believed the Yacorn had created them as a servant race.
