Drigriffi - WT

The Drigriffi are the closest thing that this world has to a ‘warrior’ species. Contests of strength, speed and physical skill are a large part of their culture - as is casual play fighting.
They somewhat resemble hippogriffs from Earth’s legends - having a bird-like head with a sharp hooked beak, yellow eyes surrounded by black bars and white feathers that they habitually dye red, orange and pink. Their body, while also covered in feathers, has a roughly equine form - with small compact hooves and strong legs. Their black barred patterning is present on their legs and tail.
They have relatively small wings for their size and can only fly short distances but they can run at high speeds. They use limited telekinesis to operate tools.
Their culture is noted for its love of poetry.
