Shixintia is a world filled with kami. My kami are somewhat based on japenese mythology and Shinto religion, so if I was misinformed, please tell me. I also added a bit of my own flare to fit Dnd. In this world, kami are spirits that have one major goal: to posess every non-living thing and unite the world under one common rule. To achieve this, they must inhabit every tangible idea. From rocks to trees, to the ideals of freedom and war, kami must posess everything. It may seem impossible, but it has already been done. Shinkai is an alternate world where kami have gained complete control. Most kami look to it as inspiration and encouragment, and speak of the place fondly. There, the gods of the kami settle. Kami are made from the fabrics of the multiverse, and when they clump up, they form kami. Kami must seek a thing to inhabit that correlates to the power it was born with. Those are free-floating kami, and when their homes are destroyed, they can simply find a new one. Most kami are practically unkillable because there is a mirror version of them which will always keep them tethered. However, there are two other types of kami. Shrine kami and Mortal kami. A shrine kami is born when a shrine built on a particularly fabric-of-the-multiverse strong location.
