Shingle
Few know where the name Shingle originated. Some say that the Sages of Nimos though of the world as one of many on the lattes of creation. Others debate that Shingle is simply a miss-translation of the word Shanlea. An ancient Nimmian word for 'middle ground ' or 'place of neutrality'. Either characterization is not often considered by the denizens of this place.
