Energy
Similar to atoms, Energy is a particle/cloud/energy like substance that make up our whole world. It's found in everything. Every Energy is colored slightly different.
There's seven types of Energy. Reality, Life, Death, Fire, Water, Earth, and Nature. Nature Energy is found in plants and animals, Earth Energy is found in rocks and metal, and Water and Fire Energy is respectively found in water and fire, and they're both found in the air. Life and Death Energy are found in all living or previously living things and in light. Reality Energy is found in the laws of the universe. Gravity, time, and less concrete laws like what holds atoms together or why can't atoms change naturally.
Humans haven't heard of Energy because they're unable to detect it. You need Energy to find Energy, and humans have no way of getting Energy. But a relative to humans, Shifters can control Energy. There's seven kinds of Shifters for each kind of Energy. Reality Shifters, Life/Light Shifters, Dark/Death Shifters, Fire Shifters, Water Shifters, Earth Shifters, and Nature Shifters. Each kind of Shifter can control their respective type of Energy, so they can control the parts of the universe that Energy inhabits.
Properties
Material Characteristics
You can't see Energy until a Shifter Shifts it. Then it depends on the Shifter's signature color and overall appearance of their Energy. No two Shifters have the same color Energy (except identical twins). The appearance however can be categorized into Shape, Density, and Glow. The Shapes in order from commonest to rarest are glow, light, lined puddy-like, gas, smoke, and flames. Density and Glow is rated on a scale of 1 to 100. Shifters usually have a Density of 35 to 70. Shifters rarely have a Glow below 50.
Physical & Chemical Properties
- Energy cannot be affected by anything except for other Energy, or devices/technology that specifically involve Energy.
- Two or more Energy types can be combined together to create something by Shifters.
- However on their own, naturally, only same types of Energy can effect each other.
- Energy is attracted to other Energy if they're the same type. They literally try to move closer to each other. That's why there's often concentrated spots of LOTS of Energy in the world, instead of Energy being spread out evenly worldwide.
Compounds
Shifters can combine Energy or things that have Energy to create new things.
Demons are made up of condensed Energy.

Life & Expiration
Energy follows the same law that regular energy does- it cannot be created or destroyed. It can disappear or kind of leave, but it just returns to the universe.
Color
Energy is the Shifter that's Shifting them's signature color. Otherwise Reality is purple to pink, Life is white, Death is black, Fire is red/orange, Water is blue, Earth ranges from brown to red to grey, and Nature ranges from yellow to green.
Boiling / Condensation Point
Energy is not affected by temperature.
Melting / Freezing Point
Energy is not affected by temperature.
Common State
Gas.
