Welcome to Equestria a land of magic and friendship. Where ponies lived peacefully with the other races of the world. Ruled over by the princess Celestia and Luna. Defended by six heroes wielding the elements of harmony. Welcome to Equestria a land torn by an endless war. The princesses are missing, the heroes are gone, and the elements with them. Dragons pillaged in the south, zebra strafed the west from war zeppelins, and ponies fought among themselves over dwindling resources and increasingly toxic food. Welcome to Equestria a land steeped in magic radiation. Life is short and hearts have become cruel. The water is poisonous and the food slowly kills. Beasts of myth and abominations born of blight prowl the land and inhabit the sea. This is what remains of the world, a barren land filled with relics of the past who refuse to die clinging to life by any means. Blood flows like water, bullets and spells fill the air once populated by birds. Life persists in pockets, civilization held together by mutual agreement that what's out there is far worse than who's in here. In a land with no gods to save them and more monsters than heroes the land itself lashes out at its attackers. The oldest of creatures begin to stir. The land once again teems with wild magic that sustained them eons ago. The ancients, the prophesied bringers of the end are waking up to a world powerless against them.
