Arcanum Lodge
Structure
Grandmaster of the Lodge
Each Arcanum Hall is led by a Grandmaster. They form the council of the Lodge, and as long as they keep to the rules established by their consensus each Grandmaster is free to lead their Hall however they see fit. They oversee what contracts are taken from external sources and steer relations with the local governments.
Master of the Hall
The Master of the Hall is the right hand of the Grandmaster. They oversee the recruitment and training of new Seekers, as well as internal distribution of contracts and missions.
Arcanum Hunter
Hunters are proven members of the Lodge. They take on fewer missions than Seekers in exchange for handling direct contact and guidance for a number of Seeker parties. When they do go out in the field it is for unusually difficult or dangerous tasks.
Arcanum Seeker
Arcanum Seekers are all regular members of the Lodge, from the freshest recruit to seasoned members who have yet to earn their title as Hunter. Some even forego becoming a Hunter because they shun the added responsibility, remaining a Seeker for their entire time with the Lodge.
Keeper of the Lodge
Keepers handle all the paperwork that the Lodge produces. They catalogue discoveries made by Seekers and Hunters and handle diplomatic interactions with governments and other organizations. They are also sometimes sent in the field with new Seekers to ensure they follow Lodge rules.
Arcanist
Arcanists are the scholars of the Lodge. Historians, mages, and researchers who aim to piece together secrets of history, lore, and magic of forgotten ages from the artifacts and treasures that Seekers and Hunters bring back to the Lodge.
