The USA attempts to make the most of its land resources.

The USA begins removing the rights of citizens in order to exploit its land. Key moments include:

  • 21st January, 2002: The government seizes millions of acres of land from Native American reservations and gives it to corporations intent of squeezing everything they can out of it. Coal, gas, oil, anything.
  • 2003: The "Call to Arms" brochure (see below) is widely distributed in Washington DC
  • 26th April, 2004: News outlets across the USA report that President Martin Hunt has been making regular payments to Mexican President Miguel Avila in exchange for letting certain corporations continue the Resource Rush south of the border.
  • June 2004: The Dungeonness Meltdown.
  • 4th March, 2008: The ORO Corporation announces the discovery of large deposits of molybdenum several kilometers off the coast of Panama. Not only did they have full exploitation rights to this metal, but they had managed to create a monopoly on all local extracting and processing industries for the metal. They managed all of this before the discovery was made public.
  • 5th May, 2009: United Oil Industries receives the oil rights to 1/4 of the remaining national parks and 1/10 the remaining Native American reservations.
  • 18th-28th September, 2009: Responding to the above land grants, a strike team from SAIM invades a missile silo and threatens to launch. This is referred to as the Lone Eagle Incident. A single missile is launched just before military forces manage to break in and kill the strike team. The missile disappears over Russia. No-one knows why.
  • 19th October 2009-20th January 2010: All Native Americans are sent to detention camps. All Native American land is seized.

So the government's taken more land. Your land this time. Are you surprised? We hope not. Because if you are, where have you been? Were you blind and deaf for the last year, as the government grabbed every bit of land it could from the Natives out west? What made you think that they wouldn't do it to you?
Sure, they aren't kicking us out of our homes yet, like they did to so many people out west. But that's only because we aren't sitting on barrels of oil or tons of metal. If we had something they wanted, you better believe we'd be out on our asses. But they've never given much to our city anyways, so there's not much for them to take right now. But they still want it anyway.
So what are you going to do, Washington? You got told you can't take care of yourself, your government is no good, and the Big Daddy Federal Government is going to take care of you now. You believe that shit? You believe that there is anyone out there who really cares about what happens to you? Didn't think so. So what are you gonna do about it?   ...
