Dominate
These powers are available only to those with access to the Dominate Discipline.
If the character possesses 1-2 dots in Dominate than he adds 1 Bonus Point to any non-supernatural rolls involving Manipulation.
If the character possesses 3-4 dots in Dominate than he adds 2 Bonus Points to any non-supernatural rolls involving Manipulation.
If the character possesses 5 dots in Dominate than he adds 3 Bonus Points to any non-supernatural rolls involving Manipulation. Dominate powers cannot force a target to go against one of the targets core tenants, will put the target in a situation where they will almost certainly die or make them hurt those closest to them (family, lovers, lifelong friends). There are ways to circumvent this with powers such as Terminus Decree but until those are purchased this rule stands.
Also note that repetitively using the power of Dominate on the same individuals can cause Derangements to manifest (at the storytellers discrection).

Command
Dominate opens many doors for a Vampire, especially when those guarding them can do nothing but open them for you. The Vampire can issue single word command to a target. The command must be executed immediately.- Type: Power

- Risk: After everything is said and done a target will wonder why it followed the Vampire’s command. An onlooker will wonder about the strange exchange the Vampire had with a target, especially if he knows the target.

- Resistance Roll: Wits + Resolve (unless trained, mortals cannot resist this ability)
- Duration: 1 Scene or until the order is performed.
Compel
The Vampire had learned to deepen his understanding of Dominate in order to make a more detailed command. This is an upgrade for Command. The Vampire can now issue short single sentence commands to the target.- Type: Upgrade

Cloud Memory
Clans with access to Dominate might not always be the figureheads but they are almost certainly the power behind the throne. By having access to this ability even young neonates can make themselves indispensable to the local Prince. By issuing the phrase “Forget” the Vampire can make the target forget all events up to the last 15 minutes. No new memories are created, instead the victim is left with a simple void in their memory.- Type: Power

Domitor’s Favour
The Vampire can extend an almost unprecedent level of control over those who are blood bonded to him. When a Kindred, who is Blood Bonded to you, tries to ignore a command you have given it by performing an opposing Willpower test than double the dice pool you would normally have in the opposing roll.- Type: Upgrade

Loyalty
The Vampire enjoys his ability to manipulate his victims and is spiteful when others attempt to impose similar influences on his playthings. If an individual, who is currently carrying out a command, which you made through the use of a Dominate power, is being targeted by a third part with a mental ability that involves controlling the actions of said individual. Then the third party suffers a 2 Point Penalty for any tests or opposing rolls involved in manifesting their abilities.- Type: Upgrade

Level 2
Mesmerize
As the Vampire becomes more used to having others follow his beckon call, he can issue complex commands to a victim as long as they have the subjects gaze and relative quiet. The Vampire can issue a command which is several sentences long. The command must be carried out immediately and cannot be conditional.- Type: Power

Slavish Devotion
Those who understand the power of Dominate know full well that the greatest enemy comes not from without but within. Due to this they take extra precautions in making sure their servants are strengthened against others possessing the same abilities. Any enemy attempting to mentally manipulate one of the Vampire’s Dominated victims, Blood Bonded Kindred or his Ghouls suffers a 2 Point Penalty on any tests or opposing rolls. This is culminated with any similar existing abilities the Vampire currently possess (such as Loyalty for instance).- Type: Upgrade

Memory Block
The Vampire prevents the victim from speaking about an event even though they remember it as clear as day. The target is unable to talk or write down a memory even though they are able to fully recount the events.- Type: Power

- Conditions: Must be able to make Eye contact
- Risk: None

- Duration: Permanent or until another supernatural ability, of at least level 3 or higher, is used to override it.
Repression of the Obvious
The Vampire hates those who lie to him and omit the truth. This power allows him to cut to the heart of the matter in an instant. By issuing the command "Speak" the target will blurt out loud what its most prominent surface thoughts are.- Type: Power

Level 3
The Forgetful Mind
Getting a deeper understanding of the value of secrecy the Vampire can rewrite whole swathes of his victim’s memory. For every 2 successes, the Vampire can rewrite an additional 24 hours of the target’s memory. The Vampire can also simply erase certain memories. The power does not allow a Vampire to read minds so the Vampire must know prior to manifesting the power as to which memory to change or get rid of.- Type: Power

- Cost: 1 Rouse Check + 1 Turn
- Conditions: Must make Eye Contact and the description of the new memories must be clearly understood.
- Risk: Using this power more than once in 24 hours on a single target can cause a derangement to manifest either temporarily or permanently.
- Test: Dominate + Manipulation (2)
- Resistance Roll: Wits + Resolve (mortals and enhanced mortals cannot resist this power)
- Duration: 1 Turn for the power to be properly manifested after which the effects are permanent.
Submerged Directive
Sometimes a more delayed action is needed to get results. Those who are masters of courtly intrigue use this ability to deadly effect. The Vampire implants a post hypnotic suggestion allowing a command to remain dormant until a specific stimulus occurs, these cannot be repetitive commands. Otherwise, the nature of the command follows all the same rules as Mesmerize.- Type: Power

- Conditions: Must make Eye Contact with the target and the order must be clearly understood. Must establish the stimulus in the command (Example: When you hear the word, Blackbird trigger the bomb).
- Risk: The target might find the phrases the Vampire uses strange until it comes to terrible fruition.
- Test: Dominate + Manipulation (4)
- Resistance Roll: Wits + Resolve (mortals and enhanced mortals cannot resist this power)
- Duration: Until the order is performed or the Vampire dies.
Implant Opinion
Sometimes instead of directly commanding a more subtle approach is needed. The Vampire implants an opinion the victim will believe is their own. The opinion must be related to an event that is currently occurring around the victim. The higher the result the more extreme the targets’ reaction will be.- Type: Power

Level 4
Rationalize
To be able to give a victim a good lullaby is great, to have the target provide one for themselves is even better. The Vampire’s victims now believe that anything they did under the effects of Dominate was a result of their own free will and will rationalize it as such, however absurd.- Type: Upgrade

Command Obedience
The power of the Vampires voice is now sufficient to trigger the powers of Dominate. You no longer need to be within Visual Range or make Eye Contact with the target(s) of your Dominate powers, instead the target only needs to be in Vocal Range. For Dominate powers that include only a Visual component you may now chose to either manifest the power simply through Vocal means or still use just the Visual component.- Type: Upgrade

Level 5
Terminus Decree
The elders of clan Ventrue are said to be capable of making mothers drown their children, lovers kill one another and guards slaughter their charges whit but a whisper. The Vampires’ can now issue Dominate commands that directly violate the targets core tenants or force them to attack their family, friends or loved ones. Natural preservation still kicks in, to a degree, so targets who are asked to outright kill themselves will still get their normal resistance bonuses.- Type: Upgrade
