Hadeshill Asylum
'The Shudders', as it is known colloquially, is a grim reminder of old atrocities conducted in the name of clinical endeavour. It is used by Deltar of Urgon as a base of operations in Sel-kai. It also was home to two tragic ghosts of past Wardens and the location for a magic silver ring we discovered (see Carn's Chronicle entry).
In the basement we discovered a tiny water sprite/elemental called Lyssa.
The asylum was built in 5700 with money donated from the University of Kalingen in Sel-kai, the Spicer's Guild and from Desidara Orgillion. The asylum was intended as a place of recovery and treatment for "those seers and mystics exhausted and disturbed by their labours" according to the log books. In 5738 their was a fire in the basement and "many and diverse difficulties" and the asylum was locked up and left alone. Surviving patients were "dispersed for the better treatment of them and the safety of Sel-kai".
