Shadow Factory

A dark town. Unidentified flying objects. Lights from the woods. Eyes from the woods.   The forest is strange, as if the trees go on forever. For years now it's been shrouded in dark fog. Ever since the clouds decided it was bad luck to return from hence they came.   The town of Portwell is not nearly populated enough. There are all the basic amenities, gas station, school, bank, but no one appears around. The few souls here rush hurriedly back to monotone cars in monotone outfits with monotone faces. No one welcomes you, no one even looks up. They are running from someone, or so it seems. But who? Or what?
