SHAMIR9

SHAMIR9 is a highly classified cyberwarfare cryptographic protocol developed and solely used internally within HSMBC's cryptocurrency exchanges. Little is known about SHAMIR9 except that it is rumored to be so aggressively guarded by Black Ice protocols that it is practically unhackable.
Rumors circulate that an attempt to hack SHAMIR9 occurred on board the HSM Lord-Marshal Zhao on its final voyage up the Malaysian peninsula. A hacker, a wanted Bratva criminal, penetrated the air-gapped crypto-vault on-board and interfaced with a storage device. Little is known about what happened subsequently but it appears a strand of virulent Black Ice spread through the ship, followed by a multi-alarm fire and the ship’s rapid disintegration. Survivors report erratic behaviour in electronic devices aboard the ship as well as by the shipboard security. However, these reports remain unsubstantiated at this time. The incidence is treated by HSMBC as a cyberterrorist attack.
