Seth'rah

The world began an eternity ago, but about five thousand years ago, a war between the seven great races broke (known as the War of Seth'ra), dividing the world in Yuma'rem, the human realm, and E'shaaki, known to humans as the kingdom of shadows.   In the human realm all kind of magic or supernatural event is only a myth, songs you sing to kids to inspire them, the war of Seth'ra in only known to bards, historians and children and technology has made people ignore the old existence of alchemy, but the church is conducting a clandestine project, based on archaic, forbidden knowledge to resurrect alchemy, trying to join the mythic world of the gods with the human world.   The shadow prospered like a land separated from humans, were mythological creatures live and coexist in peace, divided in six main kingdoms and one capital, were the council of the six sages rules over the land, all races must obey the council except for the city of Da'at Hul, city of mages, that exists within E'shaaki but belongs to wizards, a tribe of humans that evolved around the shadow's magic.
