Serris

"It was like someone dropped kicked a few bags of blocks, and emptied all the bags of marbles they could find, and then started to map the outcome." - Gaia, probably.

Once, there was a world you're intimately familiar with: Earth. The one where creationist myths of many ran rampant, warring with one another for power, regardless of feasibility. It was messy, bloody and violent. Life was created, flourished, and decayed in mere moments, tracked on a clock that ran slow enough to make it seem as if centuries passed before the world began anew.

There were deities that rose above, content in their sandbox. Working to perfect their tiny creatures, to create monsters from the pure terror they had unleashed. Others could not handle it, and dared to wish for more for their creations. For coexistence.

They chose the scrap bin, and made it home.

Geography

Featuring a large internal cavern system where the core should be, and a planetary core that gravitates around the cavern system, the planet rotates oddly on it's axis, creating an unevenly applied division of daylight and nightlight hours for all residents.

Lush forests and rain forests straddle the equator almost lovingly, while harsh deserts escape towards the southern mountain ranges, or the western seas pockmarked with island chains and shifting plateaus. Northern snows mask settling landmasses, carved and reshaped by it's inhabitants.

Fresh water and it's salted, forceful counterpart are available in many regions, even going as far as to forcefully exist in small desert pockets, as if to give the sand-dwellers reprieve from excessive heat just when they need it most.

Fauna & Flora

"Everything is out to exist, peacefully. That is, until you try and get in it's way- and then, it's very much going to fuck with you." -Jinx, unhappily nursing an amazingly purple bite.

The flora and fauna match perhaps something making it's way from your fairy tale books- all of them. All at once. Together. It's complicated.
