FFM15: Completely Unexpected

Jesus wasn't sure what on earth was going on. At one point, he was playing gin with his step father, and the next there was yelling in the corridor. He stood quickly, and went to address whatever the fledgling angels were so worked up about. It was Saturday, a day for them to enjoy themselves.

Cassiel stood just outside the door, shaking and picking at tiny regrown feathers. He was covered from head to toe in what appeared to be glitter, as well as what looked like a fine coating of grey-ish dust.

"What happened?"

"There was a mix up at the Gate," Cassiel breathed. "Intruders have gone and done unsightly things to our monuments, and they're in the monasteries now, disturbing the vestals at prayer."

Jesus paled. "Show me to the intruders." He ordered, closing the door a slight bit harder than necessary. The pair tried to ignore the vast amount of laughter coming from behind it.
