Minotaurs

Lore

Minotaurs are barrel-chested, battle-loving humanoids with the head, hooves, and tail of a bull They are found throughout the known world. Minotaurs take pride in their horns, the sharpness, size, and color of which are related to an individual's place in minotaur society. Fur and skin coloring runs from albino white to coal black, though most minotaurs have red or brown fur and hair.   Minotaurs in the Southern Shelf tend to be combat orientated with Minotaur societies building makeshift arenas to compete against one another in a gladiatorial fashion. Always striving to challenge themselves, how they perform in these fight pits affects their reputation amongst their kind, Many in the Southern Shelf move between different tribes to challenge new foes. Most Minotaurs in the known world know of Khan Bloodhorn, Said to be the mightiest Minotaur most show him admiration and respect with him serving as a higher up in The Orarth Clan most minotaurs in the region rally behind Orarth.   Outside the Southern Shelf Minotaurs are more civilized resisting their violent tendencies, you can find minotaurs in almost any form of trade. Being able to form strong bonds with other races has caused them to flourish in almost every continent, however, this cannot be said for the region of Graecia which sees Minotaurs as quarry and have been hunted in the region for centuries, Those who remain in the region are more monstrous and aggressive.    In the cold tundra of Norwind Minotaurs are at constant odds with the werewolves of the region. Sadly like in Morgrim's case these Minotaur tribes are often slaughtered causing Minotaurs to have a great disdain for Lycanphropes. Known as the greatest werewolf hunter in the known world Morgrim is seen as a monster even by his own race causing him to find a new family within the Midnight Hunting Association.
