Feywood

Feywood is a large town to the east of Caedor and is known for its wealth and resources within the region and throughout the west of Seros. From sly businessmen to the snobby upper class there is always someone who is greedly waiting to take your coin.      with its access to waterways making it easy to trade with other nations however the fae that used to live there were untrustful of outside contact and starved the town of its trade and support of outside nations instead clouded with their own pride they kept

Defences

The Town is surrounded by a deep moat along with a stone wall encircling the town. This paired with their monstrous Ogre guard makes this town one of the more defended places in the region.

Industry & Trade

Feywood uses its vast array of waterways to trade goods throughout Cadeor and the rest of the known world making the town abnormally wealthy.

Guilds and Factions

Within the Stoney walls of Feywood, several factions lay hidden in the shadows, pulling strings to gain more power and influence. One notable faction the party has encountered is The Whispering Hand who aim to fill their pockets with the coins of the rich. Another is a faction of the Covern of Plagues led by Gilda

History

Feywood used to be one of the greatest towns in Caedor when it was first founded full of magical energy the town prospered however once magic started leaving the Caedorian forests for reasons unknown the rulers of the town refused to adapt and trade with other settlements. Letting their pride cloud them the town starved. Paranoid of their ever-angrier subjects the Fae rulers hired rouge hunters as enforcers of their reign. Only when Tarok Felspine and his Ogres arrived and usurped their reign was the town able to prosper again. Building waterways allowed the citizens of Feywood to establish easy trade routes making it easy for goods to go in and out of the nation. Highqueen Morgana saw Tarok's deeds and made him a Duke of Caedor and a hero in the eyes of his citizens. However, for Tarok, this was a mere stepping stone toward his true ambition.
