Serenia

Serenia is a large continent populated by a wide variety of fantastical beings.   In the mountains to the East live the dragons. Large, powerful and ancient, they tend to care little about the concerns of lesser beings. They have the ability to shapeshift but usually prefer to stay in their large and near-indestructible natural form.   To the West is where most civilised races such as humans and elves dwell. This region has a somewhat Victorian-inspired steampunk feel, filled with advanced technology that combines magic and science.   The lands to the North and South remain largely unexplored as their landscapes are home to dangerous beasts and harsh climates. The same is true for the world’s deep oceans and underground caverns. Both hold vast treasures and are ripe for exploration.
