Serath

Serath is a fantasy world wherein a magical power called Fire permeates both nature and society, bringing with it change to those it touches. Great power and great tragedy alike can befall those who toy with Fire, and a lack of understanding can quickly bring with it irreversible consequences.   Great mythological beasts called Ancients roam the world of Serath, acting as Incarnations of Fire by making their will manifest upon those who cross their paths. Being immensely powerful and diverse, these Ancients can forge kingdoms as readily as they can shatter them, and each Ancient may be worshipped as a god or honored as a protector—or feared and hated for their titanic power, all depending on the individual.   Serath is a world of struggle, change, growth, and loss. It is a place where power is seized by the knowledgeable, where magical powers and the means to alter one's own body may be achieved through ritual sacrifice, and where ancient secrets lie long forgotten.   As times change and such secrets are rediscovered, the fading empire of Koralon finds itself in the middle of a cultural struggle as the once great empire finds itself in a losing war. How far must Koralon's denizens go to avoid being conquered, and who will pay the price?
