Aballum

Aballum is a country mostly populated with dragon-like lizardfolk. While there are many who find it strange that the lizardfolk live so far north, the reality is that the dwarves of Ostia drove them off the plains and further north hundreds of years ago during a furious territorial fight as the dwarves left The Pelonas. As a result, they were driven to the north to a small spit of land on the edge of the great northern waste, which they now defend with tooth and claw. While Aballum is quite a small nation, they are fierce and stalwart of heart.
Aballum is a strictly regimented and highly religious culture who worships the dragons. While they know the dragons are not gods, specifically, they believe that the ancient dragons are as close to gods as the mortal realm is likely to ever experience. As a result, their worship largely involves pilgrimages to The Claw to bring the dragons there tribute. With the waning issues with Ostia, they have been struggling to figure out how to get things to their gods.
