The Document of the Grey

The Document of the Grey is a treatise between the Cloud Giants of the BorgAnd-viðri (Home of the Eastern Wind) and the Stone Giants of the Kunnigrstein (To Know Stone). It was found in the Stone Mountain Cradle Valley, where a number of Stone Giants and mortals took shelter from the Giant Wars that reshaped the world as it is no longer known.
The scroll is made of a hide that most people would not know of anymore, as they dont walk the earth of the world anymore. Perhaps eventually, one would rediscover the beast was once a Titanothere. the Ink used, a pale white scrawling against the deep grey of the scroll, is made of Liquid Cloud, condensced through various magical machines and alchemical implements, a meeting of the mounts of the Stone and Cloud, to carry the important words held within to safety and hearth.
Unfortunatly, this document never made it to its intended peoples. This is the Copy that the KunnigrStein would have held within their stone chisel halls, but was withheld on the sending once word reached the Meeting of Skye and Stein that the Storm Giants had struck down the mountain peoples. The Meeting of Skye and Stein was where the Cloud and Stone Giant envoys had met to create an alliance, but they had both withheld to long, and acted to late.
the Document of the Grey, named due to an inability to read Giant, was snatched up and hidden away within the walls of the Greyhold, a fortress situated in Detrielle, at the basy of the Stone Mountain, a small mountain range that many Historians say used to MUCH bigger. It is held within a Vault heavily guarded by the Mage Guard that work to keep the fortress impenetrable and well protected, jealously guarding all secrets that could be related to anything to do with the Giants that might have resided within that range.

The Document of the Grey hold a would be alliance agreement between the Cloud and Stone Giants, and name SteinBara Saman Grið Aalnathas of the KunnigrStein and SkyeBara Saman Grið Sindre(Grith/Grie), Witnessed by Brother Beast in the Stone and High Curator Inimae Lau'fae

Significance

It is a Historical Document, and one of the only remaining artifacts holding Giantish writing, as well as a document that, had it been signed earlier into the war, could have changed the outcome.

Titanothere Hide, treated by magic, and Liquid Cloud, the magical essence of a cloud condescensed down into Ink through alchemical and arcane process, signed in blood and sealed in a wax made of a Primordial Drone, a bee created by the Cloud giants that makes honey based on elemental air and its primordial magicks. It is also bound by an Obsidian Ribbon, threads of obsidian treated and pulled thin to a flexible degree.

Tools

traditional pens and writing implements for the actual act of writing, a ritual to combine multiple lengths of the hide together seamlessly, many alchemical vials, condensers and theribules for the Liquid Cloud, and a very traditional Bronze alloy for the wax tools and seals. An expert weaver worked with Miner and a Jewler to create Obsidian Cloth on an enchanted loom.
