When you say "I'm not from around here," you really mean it. You grew up in the Feywild, a completely different plane of existence from the one Sendris E'vana inhabits. Twenty-four (of this world's) years ago, you and your entire town spontaneously relocated into this plane, to much confusion and downright terror. The people of Sendris E'vana, although dealing with their own major catastrophe at the time, were very good to you and helped you settle in as best they could. Over the years, Sendris E'vana has felt more like home, and your and your peoples' memories of the Feywild grow fainter with each passing day - both figuratively and literally. But since it seems you're stuck here in this new world, you hope to make a new name and a better existence for yourself as best you can.
