diety list

List of the Religious Dietys in Senaria   Lisean & Lodrosa- twin Goddesses of magic and mystery. The two oldest deity's in meros and Nerona worshiped as creator gods they made the world and gave it's inhabitants magic. In Nerona people mainly worship Lisean as the main goddess of magic while not recognizing Lodrosa as anything more than a lesser aspect of Lisean. Lisean represents the sun while Lodrosa represents the moon. On Meros they worshiped as equal and separate forces entirely and it is seen as a great offense to worship one and not the other. In both countries twins are seen as good luck and are thought to be blessed by the Gods.   Olvi- Goddess of the harvest and growth, life, and family. She is responsible for making things grow and thanked whenever a healthy child is born. She is the god of earthquakes and natural disasters. It is said that when she rages so does the earth. Those who worship her do their best to appease her and keep her calm with offerings from their harvests.   Irum- God of medicine and health and knowledge. He is the patron god of scholars, scientists and doctors alike. He is known to reward his followers with the inspiration to invent great and astonishing new things as well as help to forward medical knowledge. His likeness can be found in libraries and inventors dens around the world, however it is only in doctors homes or healers huts that we see the dual imagery of him and his wife, Miconey.   Veydan- God of wine, laughter, love in all it's forms, and music. They are the god all bards strive to please with their music. They've had many children and it is rumored that every bard can trace their lineage back to them in some fashion or other. They are truly the embodiment of live, laugh, love.   Mimeiren- Goddess of the sea she is the rising tides and the towering waves. She is the only known child of Lodrosa, said to be formed from a tear drop that fell from her face into the ocean, and fro that tear Mimeiren took form. She controls the sea currents and ocean tides. Sailors pray to her for safe travels and put her likeness on their ships to appease her for she is also responsible for the great storms that turn the sea into a deadly and watery grave.   Aireon- God of madness and bad luck. Little is known about this god or their followers. Whenever someone looses their grip on reality people lay the blame on Aireon. Their following is bigger in Meros while in Nerona they are seen more as something to be blamed when things go wrong.   Basir- God of death. He is an inevitability for a large number of the people on both continents. Those who worship him tend to join him in his realm quite quickly. He is death itself and he rules the underworld and the souls within it.   Dasen- Goddess of death, she is worshiped exclusively in Meros and is seen as the one who brings death to people an carries their souls to the underworld where they await their judgement. Her touch is gentle and she is a child of Olvi, the one who gives life. She does not rule the underworld but she does help to keep it in order.   Miconey- Goddess of healing. while Irum is responsible for medicine, it is Miconey people pray to when in need of healing and treatment. She represents the magical side to medicine, and the act of healing itself. Her and Irum are married to each other and are often worshiped together.   Keyon- God of war. Instead of being focused on the rage that comes with war he represents strategy and martial skill. He has been known to grant super human abilities to those in need who worship him.
