Dungeons and Ruins

A great many ancient ruins and other abandoned structures can be found strewn throughout Sellenia, attracting adventurers and scholars alike seeking wealth, fame, and knowledge. Most of which are still yet to be discovered.


Dwarven Halls- Dwarves have been creating elaborate underground halls and tomb complexes for longer than any other race, at a scale and complexity no other race could hope to achieve. The passage of long eons and the rise and fall of many Dwarven kingdoms has undoubtedly led to the abandonment of a great many of these sites, many still packed with the riches of their former inhabitants. Unlike the undead or magical traps of other ruins, it is the huge variety of unspeakable monsters that tend to make dwarven ruins their homes that makes such locations dangerous, due to their often extremely deep and remote locations. Some of the deepest and most dangerous ruins of these type are known to connect directly to the Underdark, from which unspeakable horrors are unleased and few who venture the Underdark are even known to return alive.
