The Lost Sister

Structure

There is no organized worship of the Lost Sister. Many elves, particularly the Fyane’nisse, pay tribute to their creator through a spring ritual when the first flowers of the year begin to bloom. Statues to the Lost Sister are also kept in many homes. The temple of the Lady in Grenharth does have a small shrine dedicated to the Lost Sister.

Mythology & Lore

Elves believe that life began for them when the Sisters created them from the waters of Loch Loinnir. The Ard’nisse shaped from the water itself, and the Fyane’nisse from the flora in the lake. Creator of the Fyane’nisse is the Lost Sister. It is said that when she created the wild elves, she imbued too much of herself into them. By doing so, she vanished and only her shimmering silver heart remained. Elves believe that her great power was too much to dwell solely in the Fyan’nisse, and the excess essence created the halflings.
