Syreth’byeel

The village of Syreth’byeel is located at one of the small lakes resting at the end of an offshoot of the great river. Buildings in the River Home are shaped from the great oaks present throughout the region, as Mor’Gren rarely take root away from Loch Loinnir. Great oaks of the forest grow to nearly two hundred feet, and generally have trunks with a 30-foot diameter. Most of the shaped trees are used as homes, with exterior adjustments for some places of business. This results in most time in the town being spent outside. Further away from the lake are farmsteads, providing the town with sufficient fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

Government

Within sight of the lake is the home of the Councilor in charge of the town. Teyani Feyana leads her people with a gentle hand. The residents of her town are largely free to live out their lives without her interference. So long as the people of the town and visitor respect the property and persons of those who are in the town, Feyana stays out of their affairs. She is approachable by anyone, and actively seeks to solve any problem put before her. The occasional judgement required of her is performed under a canopy beside her home, viewable to all who wish to witness.
