Reign of Winter: Shackled Hut 8/12/2019

General Summary

Backtracking we found a swirling dark blue vortex in the middle of the market square. Unable to get around it, we went down another path and found a house up in the air on the verge of falling, inside Alyara and Graagrahgron found children and their wounded father. Graagrahgron turned into a fluffy bunny to calm the children, and Serilye animated her hair to get them down. Alyara gave the father a ring of feather fall, and then pushed him out of the house.
We encountered a piper around a circle of floating rocks, he was very rude and unhelpful. He created a pit trap that separated us from him, but the party managed to drop him with range attacks.
We encounters Parringtons, head of a wolf with front legs and antlers of a deer and rear legs wings of an eagle. They didn't say much and flew away, despite our attempts at diplomacy.
We then found a Winter Guard sergeant that ordered us to escort her out other. Serilye used her charm ability to attempt to make her more friendly, but it wasn't enough and instead she put her to sleep with her slumber ability. We then interrogated the sergeant and let her go.
