Reign of Winter: Shackled Hut 7/15/2019

General Summary

Continuing our search, Alyara though she saw a little girl/young woman behind a barrel. Investigating we found nothing but food stuff. Graagrahgron tried to follow a scent, but the smell of food was overwhelming. As we entered a kitchen, and opened another door, the oven animated and jumped out and attacked Alyara!
We encountered a child and a grandmother, who did not like our presence in their room. Alyara tried to talk to the other child, having used his hat of disguise and the child cast a spell and tried to steal Alyara's breath. Tannim grappled the grandmother, while the rest of the party dealt with the child, who dismantled into junk and toy parts.
The party tried to be diplomatic with the grandmother but she would not cooperate. She supported the current reign and protested our plan to bring back Baba Yaga. Searching her room led us to dozens of pages written by children, and orders from the White Tower transferring many children from orphanages to the clocktower. Having some insight to the evil nature of other witches, Serilye had Graagrahgron rip her throat out as the party split up searching the rest of the floor.
As we climbed the rest of the tower, Alyara went up a ladder along with Arradec, but the trapdoor slammed shut, and a loud metallic clang followed behind it. Alyara was stuck on top of the clocktower with the dragon.
