Reign of Winter: Shackled Hut 06/17/2019

General Summary

We came upon a well maintained bridge with clean polished skulls impaled on spikes, turn as if to watch incoming traffic. We encounted an elf and a dwarf with their weapons drawn looking for something underneath the bridge. Graagrahgron smelled something foul. Tannim cast light under the water and detect magic, and something large was down there. We encountered two large fishmen. Alyara chopped one of their legs off, and the elf shot one of them piercing it through its tongue.
After the dwarf was forced to take a bath, the dwarf and elf were allowed to accompany us. We came upon Whitethrone, which stunk of decaying fish. We met a man named Grungir, who was arrested for disturbing the peace by the fish camp guards, who are no better than thugs that extort money from villagers. We found four of the guards harrassing a man at the pier collecting taxes. Tannim pushed one in the water, Aylara followed and pushed in another.
We went to the guardhouse where they were keeping the man we were looking for and an ogre wouldn't let us in, the door was barred. Tannim cast an unseen servant to get us in, Alyara charged in, but Pimmal was bullrushed out as an ogre closed the door again, trying to bar it. He made his fists stone and shattered the door. Serilye had her hood up to intimidate as a fearsome yeti, screaming at one of the ogres. Alyara was backstabbed, but in a fit of rage cleaved both of his legs off.
