Pretech

Technology developed pre-scream, largely incorporating specially developed and trained psionic abilities (known as Psitech). Much of this technology is inoperable today. Despite this limitation, pretech artifacts are highly prised for their utility, many circulating in both conventional and black markets. The operation of some pretech artifacts can provide a significant tactical edge, or even be the difference between victors in war.
