The largest autonomous polity on Uman, Masqat is a powerhouse of industry and technology. It prides itself on its development of bleeding edge tech, funding dozens of institutions and companies focused on research and development. Masqat's rivalry with its neighbour state, Gebal, is well known, and skirmishes along their wide militarized southern border are common.
Citizens of Masqat elect a President, who acts as high commander of their military in theory, but whose focus is drawn in practice to intelligence and research operations. The President rarely leaves Sengana, and is never seen without an impressive security detail.
