Maiden's Hair

Maiden's Hair is a very common plant growing throughout Ish'ae. Originating in Mirabelle (nee:Estrella), it is posited that the plant was not in fact naturally occurring, but actually the result of magics. Some even believe that the plant was created by the Court of Miracles to keep subjects more docile. Regardless of it's origins, the hardy plant has made it's way around the world. It is considered legal to consume in all nations, but the production and distribution of the plant varies in legality from place to place.
The calming and mood heightening effects of the plant when either ingested or inhaled as a smoke, have made it a very popular substance throughout the world. While it is considered a generally mild drug, it does have a small list of short and long term side effects. Short term side effects include decrease in motor skills and reaction time. Long term use can result in permanent decrease in short term memory, and mild episodes of paranoia.
