Sentence: Basil Normandy want's the octarine scrying crystal before the next blood moon to dominate the rimward seas, but is having trouble finding it due to its odd effects on time.   Theme: The gods dislike medling especially with the future, they do love a good story however.   the Octarine Scrying crystal can see into the future and past, as well as find long lost artifacts. the gods have hid it away because stories are much more interesting when all parties don't know how the story ends.   It is rhumored that the Scrying crystal can change a persons fate when used on the bloodmoon.
