Nia'Zol, The Twins

The gods/goddess of life and death depicted in many variations but always as two entities intertwined with one another. They are the duality of life and death and those who worship them often celebrate each vibrantly. One twin is always shrouded in white while the other in black, worshipers who tend to favor one twin over the other dress accordingly. Nia has always been seen as the deity of life and Nol the deity of death.

Cultural Reception

Nia domains extend beyond life and she is paid respect for being the light of the world, the bringer of hope and celestial in nature.  Most often depicted as female except for a rare few followers they depict them as male.   Nol seen as the aspect of death and as a natural part of life. Nol is the guide to the realm of death and the one who judges the souls of the deceased deciding if they will move on to the higher planes, lower planes or be reincarnated to have another chance of life in the mortal realm.  Nol is not to be feared but embraced when it is someone's time to move on from life.
