Chardis

Located next to a large pit like cavern, Chardis is home to a large number of miners and spelunkers who are extensively prospecting and mapping the massive cave system that runs for several hundred miles underground. The city almost exclusively deals in rare gems, minerals, and herbs found within the depths of the cave system. The unknown depths of the cave have sparked a number of rumors of eldritch horrors lurking in the deeps and as such those who become lost in the caves are often not searched for and considered lost to the depths.
